Makita Brings Two New 800W SDS+ Rotary Hammers To Market

  • 2.4 joules of impact energy delivers up to 4,600 blows per minute
  • Integral dust collection system with HEPA filter
  • AVT™ version cuts vibration levels
  • Three mode operation

Makita introduces two brand new heavy duty SDS+ rotary hammer drills in either 110v or 240v mains configuration.  Both feature an 800 watt motor that with 2.4 joules of impact energy, and up to 4,600 blows per minute, will punch a 26mm hole in concrete using a normal TCT bit.  The powerful HR2650 and HR2651 will drive a 68mm TCT core or an 80mm Diamond core through concrete with ease. Both models feature the one-touch sliding SDS+ chuck.

A highly efficient dust collection system, with telescopic slide guide ranging up to 190mm, and drill-through port will reduce dust on site and protect operators.  The easy-to-remove transparent dust case provides easy disposal of dust and particles and the HEPA filter can be quickly and efficiently cleaned.

The new Makita HR2651 features the proven AVT™– Anti Vibration Technology™ – the innovative vibration reduction system that cuts vibration transfer to the operator.

Both models have torque limiter drives, and the 3-mode operation rotary switch on the transmission case selects rotary only mode for drilling, rotary with hammer action support, and a hammer only mode for chiselling functions.  Weighing 4.2kg these powerful rotary hammers will meet the most challenging on-site actions.
